I couldn’t write an article about what cleats Derrick Henry wears without mentioning the “Airmax 95” Vapor Edge 360 cleats that he wore in 2021. The Nike Vapor Edge Pro 360 cleats are designed to look like the iconic Airmax 95 sneakers bought to life by Nike ACG designer Sergio Lozano, and the cleats have some of the same features.
The cleat has those distinct rippled/wavy lines across the upper, the lace loops, and the word “Vapor” in the oval on the tongue. The Vapor Pro Edge 360 Pros also features molded cleats with wide stud placement for reliable traction when making quick cuts. Nike has added external pods on the outsole for added traction. The cleats have a knit upper that offers 360 degrees of stretch for mobility in addition to an overlay for lightweight support and durability, while the ghost lacing system offers quick lacing.
