Ja Morant whose full name is Temetrius Jamel “Ja” Morant has already racked up a number of basketball awards in his short playing career as a point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies Bears. In his Murray state days, Ja made an immediate impact in his freshman year, averaging 12.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists. He dominated the Ohio Valley Conference in his second year, improving his stat line to 24.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 10.0 assists per game. Ja also registered a triple-double in the NCAA tournament versus Marquette.
